The Vaccine Education Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia recently released a few new resources that may be of interest:
Vaccinated or Unvaccinated: What you should know - discusses how herd immunity works and considerations for families with vaccinated or unvaccinated individuals
Infectious Diseases and Fevers - describes the role of fevers as part of the immune response to infection and discusses use of anti-pyretics related to vaccinations.
Rashes: What you should know - shows images of 19 rash illnesses and provides descriptive information - booklet includes information about vaccine-preventable diseases that cause rashes, such as measles, chickenpox, rubella, shingles and smallpox. Spanish version will be posted on this page soon.
Japanese translated versions of the pneumococcus and rash information will be available on this page in the coming weeks.
