The website of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance is a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance’s website is a digital platform for policy makers, representatives of Gavi-supported countries, Alliance partners and the general public. It provides the latest information on Gavi’s work and the impact of the immunisation programmes it supports. The website lays out the Vaccine Alliance’s strategic approach and policy, as well as information on the organisation’s funding and partnership model. The most dynamic section of the website, Vaccines Work, provides engaging, timely and high-impact content covering a range of topics including various aspects of vaccine safety. All content published in this section, as well as all other areas of gavi.org, is carefully reviewed for accuracy and relevance by subject matter experts working at the Gavi Secretariat.

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance’s website is funded through the Gavi Secretariat’s operational budget and does not include any sponsored content or advertising. Gavi’s communication team is responsible for safeguarding the website from any such sponsored content or advertising.

Website's content or editorial policy

Gavi’s editorial policy specifies its primary communication mission: to inform and educate visitors about the work of the Alliance, while serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive content. It also establishes the independence of Gavi’s communications team from any undue influence on behalf of government, private sector or other constituency, in any of its communication output.

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance as well as its Secretariat, adhere to a strict Conflict of Interest Policy, which states that any potential conflict of interest in Gavi’s work must be managed with the highest degree of integrity to safeguard against any perception that undue advantage is conferred to a specific constituency, organisation or institution in Gavi decisions. This Policy applies to the Gavi website and all the communication output and content produced by the organisation.
